I'm shocked -- simply *shocked* -- that Hooters has stoppes scheduled air service. Maybe if they had actually scheduled their aircraft to places people want to *actually* go, they'd still be around.

Another start-up bites the dust...

Yes, you should. Actually, you were the one we were referring to in the post when we offered our thanks for the heads-up. So I guess we already did.

Have they specified job cuts yet? How does it look for you?

this is were it gets strange...All the crews are employed by PACE. Hooters only have 2 bases with F/A's, once this is over, 20 H1 F/A's will be offered INT, or Furlough. Thats if there is spot available. Which i assume there will be spots bcuz the 2 hooters planes will be back in PACE colors and doing charters. Most will take the furlough bcuz its hard to commute INT. We just got 2 737-400's and 3 more are coming. These aircrafts will be for Teamjet and will be in a ALL first class config with tables and coaches, etc. If you think about it, if PACE was in such bad shape, I dont think teamjet would of did that. Also rumer has it that they might be our new owners, but thats just rumer. When it happens i will let yal know. But keep in mind PACE is in good shape, the problem is Pace absorbed all some bad rep from HOOTERS. Once where not owned by brooks, we will get back on our feet and continue doing what we do best....CHARTERS!
