Vision Air To Fly Scheduled Charter

Vision Air will begin scheduled charter service from Mesa to North Las Vegas.

Well I guess Williams Gateway can be happy that they have some passenger service. Their facility is really nice, but they have been working like dogs since the place opened April 2001 to get an airline in there. They are betting that the growth in the East Valley will lure more airlines to fly out of there.

Rumored airlines out of there were ExpressJet with an ERJ-135, Mesa as HP Express with CRJs and Delta Connection/SkyWest with CRJs. Right now they have a monthly charter to either Laughlin or Reno on Allegient Air, plus they have the INS Club Fed flights that take illegal immigrants back to Mexico.

Word on the street is that one of the investors is Kerry Skeen, the guy who drove Independence Air into the ground. Their crappy web site said they were supposed to announce their routes last week. I'm highly suspect of an airline that uses Google ads at the top of its web site...
