Festival's Surveys Are In

As reported here, Festival sent out tens of thousands of surveys asking potential customers to list favored Festival cities to fly to. The report says that their destinations could be announced in July.

I don't necessarily think the survey has any real significance, but I do like the free advertising.

While waiting for the routes to be announced, I would love to see these guys explain how the plan on paying for this project.

Perhaps a peak into their financial backing might alleviate some of the concerns going forward? Has anybody caught a glimpse of their inner circle, or is that too tight-lipped?

The key words are COULD BE ANNOUNCED

I do hope this airline can work, but I don't think flying 757s is the best idea... I like Southwest and the 737s and Allegiant and the MD-80S..

At least get a fleet that can sell 120-140 seats consistently, not trying to get 200 seats every flight.

Again, file this under shyster. Anyone can answer a survey on where they'd like to fly. Call me when the real money comes in to launch this dog of an idea. Sheesh! Yet another airline looking to rook desperate airports.
